What is more harmful? Weed, Alcohol or coffee.
According to the dependence to damage scale .If you make a graph of these external substance and it's dependence or harm on your body at the bottom we have weed or bhaang or CANNABIS or ganja or Marijuana at the same level of dependence we have coffee and caffeine which is more harmful for your body and is as addictive to your body as cannabis.Then we have Tobacco and Alcohol which is much more harmful and have more dependence .At the top of damage we have herione and cocaine and this scale start getting to worse .so the things at bottom are quite safer than these to our body.
Weed isn't as harmful as tobacco , alcohol or even coffee. Cannabis is thought as a drug because it is grouped in the same category with other drugs like herione.But still less harmful than other external substances like alcohol that's why a lot of youngsters are embracing things like these.But that is also the biggest problem related to weed because your happiness depends on an external substance it always a wrong situation to be in . When you say word weed people automatically assume it as harmful external substance without knowing the science about it .Yes it is harmful but comparatively surely not. I just want to make one thing clear that I do not condone it neither I promote the use But one must say no to alcohol,tobacco, herione, cocaine like substance because they are really going to harm your body to greater extent .If you google the good and bad effects of these you will find very biased articles on both sides.The bad ones will tell you that weed is worst thing good ones will tell you that it is god's scent but we are just going to shit some science out of it because their is no neutral perspective about it .
Negative effects of weed(cannabis or bhang) are
• Affects the long term brain development if consumed at th age below 18. The weed kills your brain cells myth comes from this only but it doesn't applies to adults.
• Addictive substance your body doesn't crave for weed once you have not done it in a while but it is psychologically addictive for sure as people starts enjoying the feeling of being high.
• Affects your hormone levels.In males Cannabis decrease the testosterone level by 5% but in females it increases to a level but aftr 24 hours all hormones gets back to normal.
• Any kind of smoke harms your body .If you smoke weed it will definitely harm your lungs ground rule any kind of smoke is bad for you.
• Many people mix tobacco with their joints which is the worst form of substance to consume.
Now moving to the topic less spoken in indian society .
Good effects of weed (cannabis or bhang) are

• it helps people deal with negative effects of chemotherapy in cancer and in the modern day cannabis derivative oil is used to treat cancer in children.
The world is adapting bhang as the form of alternative medicine which is something indian ayurveda has always known. It finds the place in ayurveda and even in medical science.Adults sharing that bottle of bhang at holi are doing the same as those college going students smoking joints. But at the end of the day one need to understand it is still an external substance your goal should always make your happiness depending on your self beside thinking it as being cool to have it.Never ever rely on an external substance for happiness.once in a while it's alright to enjoy but never ever make it a habbit that's what you have to keep in mind .
